Today is Wednesday...

And the fog horns started their warnings at 5:40 this morning.  You couldn't see 10 feet in front of you, the fog was so thick.  Yesterday, it finally cleared up about 6 p.m., only to have fog roll in a half hour after that for the rest of the night.  Sort of makes the skeletons in my front yard have more of a purpose, with this weather. It also makes me think of rainy evenings in London, a little mist drifting through the brick-lined streets...somewhat eerie, yet beautiful.  This morning, I took both of the pictures you see below.  Yes, a dogwood blooming in October.   And the first picture is actually a spider web with the dew from the fog.  As I look out my kitchen window, I can actually see a barge, as the fog has lifted somewhat.   Have a great day, whatever you have planned, whether it be running errands, doing something fun and exciting, or simply sitting all day in your sweats, which is precisely what I'm doing typing this!
